Google Tech Talk: Inside VMware Fusion

Comments

Ben, I just saw your talk and... did you have two farbrausch icons on

your desktop when showing off the 3d flight and the 2d game? I've

tried running "kasparov" which was done by the same demoscene group

but the music bugged a bit every 4 seconds so all the feeling was

lost...

the other one I tried on first use was fulcrum/matrix,

software rendering engine and it F L I E D even at very high

resolutions, there was lots of happiness seeing it :)

anyways cool program, got a copy together with my 8600 MBP :)

Hi Antonio,

Thanks for watching the talk! I did indeed have some Farbrausch demos on my desktop. I've been testing them with VMware Fusion 1.1. A lot of them run pretty well! I haven't tried "kasparov" yet, but I'll give it a go.

Thanks for the kind words. The talk was really fun!

[this is good]
Hi Ben - I recently saw your tech talk and I got myself copy of Fusion.
Hi Ben - I recently saw your tech talk and I got myself copy of Fusion. After trying it out for some time I wrote up a review which you might be interested on...
Hey there Ben:
Antonio suggested I contact you and let you know about NVscene. If you're interested in the demoscene, NVscene will be a professionally-organized event happening in San Jose in August. Info is at http://nvision.scene.org/ .
